Job summary

RESPEC is seeking an Engineer-In-Training (EIT) specializing in water resources for our Anchorage, Alaska office. You will support planning, design, and implementation of water resources projects across Alaska and the Lower 48, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver practical engineering solutions.

The role emphasizes hands-on development, data analysis, and permit support, with opportunities for professional growth through mentorship and ESOP participation.

Qualifications

• FE exam completed or in progress
• Sound coursework in hydrology and hydraulics
• Valid driver's license with clean record
• Local candidates preferred

Responsibilities

• Support multiple water resource projects, collaborating with team and clients to resolve technical challenges
• Conduct hydrology and hydraulic analyses and modeling for watershed planning and design of hydraulic structures
• Prepare H&S reports and technical presentations for diverse audiences
• Attend site visits to collect data and confirm field conditions
• Develop or support construction plans, specifications and estimates
• Assist with permit applications
