Job Overview

In the role of Water Resources Design EIT/Coordinator, we’ll count on you to:

  • Assist project engineers and senior engineers in water resources projects, including watershed assessments, water supply long‑term planning, floodplain analysis, and high‑level water resources studies.
  • Field and desktop data collection.
  • Hydrologic analysis and model development.
  • One‑ and two‑dimensional hydraulic analysis and model development.
  • Prepare engineering design calculations.
  • Environmental permitting support.
  • Technical report development.
  • Development of visual aids for client and stakeholder presentations.
  • Perform other duties as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Candidates without their EIT will be placed into a Design Coordinator job code and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression.
  • Basic knowledge of industry standard software, including Microsoft Office Suite, standard CAD platforms, ArcGIS, HEC‑RAS, and HEC‑HMS.
  • Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple assignments successfully.
  • Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or other related field.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, standard CAD platforms such as AutoCAD, and hydraulic modeling software.
  • Self‑motivated, able to work independently and with a project team to completion of tasks.
