Job summary

In the role of Water Resources EIT/Coordinator, we’ll count on you to:
  • Work under project engineers on the application of design engineering and modeling techniques in the development of water resource projects for federal, state, and local municipalities.
  • Focus on hydraulics and hydrology modeling, stormwater collection systems modeling, data collection, assimilation, and presentations.
  • Work on projects including flood control, river design, stream grade control structures, dike systems, levees, stream channel restoration/rehabilitation, wetland and lake restoration, watershed issues, non‑point source loading, and point source design.
  • Produce design calculations, draft technical reports, and perform water resources studies.
  • Perform other duties as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate.
  • Candidates without an EIT will be placed into a Design Coordinator job code and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression.
  • Experience with HEC‑1, HEC‑HMS, HEC‑RAS, GEO‑RAS, and storm drain system analysis.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, standard CAD platforms such as AutoCAD, and hydraulic modeling software.
  • Self‑motivated, able to work independently and with a project team to completion of tasks.
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee‑owned culture is a must.
