Kisinger Campo & Associates, Corp. (KCA) in Raleigh and Charlotte is seeking entry-level Hydraulics Engineers for full-time positions. You will work under the direct supervision of the Department Manager on transportation design projects.

Ideal candidates have a civil engineering degree, 0–5 years of experience, and strong verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of ORD or 3D modeling is a plus, as is familiarity with NCDOT design standards.

Job description

Kisinger Campo & Associates, Corp. (KCA) has openings for full-time, Entry- Level Hydraulics Engineers in Charlotte and Raleigh.

In this position, you will work under the direct supervision of the Department Manager. The position requires a solid understanding of transportation design projects, a strong foundation of hydrologic and hydraulics engineering principles, and solid communication skills. Responsibilities include preparing technical studies, reports, construction estimates and assisting with proposals & presentations for storm drain, pond, and floodplain design for transportation projects.

Qualifications:

• 0 to 5 years of experience
• EI preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Eagerness to learn from and collaborate with teammates
• Knowledge of NCDOT design standards and planning preparation procedures is a plus
• OpenRoads Designer (ORD) or 3D Modeling experience is a plus
