Job summary

HDR is seeking a Water/Wastewater Designer/EIT in Pensacola, FL. You will work under project engineers on hydraulic modeling, data collection, and design calculations for municipal water projects.

Preferred EIT certification or progress toward it, with a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering. Candidate should be self-motivated, able to work independently, and collaborate with a team in a growing employee-owned culture. Local candidates preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers on water resource projects for federal, state and local municipalities.
• Perform hydraulics and hydrology modelling, data collection, and presentations.
• Develop design calculations and draft technical reports.
• Contribute to flood control, river design, and restoration projects.
• Support other duties as needed.
