Job summary

ATCS is seeking a Water Resources Engineer to join our team in a hybrid role requiring three days onsite weekly at our Herndon, VA office.

You will support MDOT, VDOT, and PennDOT projects, performing hydrology/hydraulics analyses, CADD/GIS work, and reports while collaborating across disciplines. Competitive salary and a strong benefits package accompany the opportunity to grow technical expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• 3+ years’ experience in Water Resources Design Engineering for transportation projects.
• EIT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct design for water resources transportation projects including stormwater management and drainage design.
• Perform hydrology and hydraulics studies/models for culverts, drainage systems, bridges, streams, and floodplain studies.
• Prepare CADD plans and GIS exhibits.
• Support QA/QC and other engineers/consultants.
