Job summary

Stillpoint AEC in Houston, TX seeks a Civil Engineer with water resources expertise to lead drainage and stormwater projects, perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, and develop models and plans.

Responsibilities include design of stormwater systems, coordination with municipalities and regulators, preparation of reports and construction documents, and mentorship as you advance toward PE licensure; hybrid/onsite work options available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Experience in water resources, stormwater, drainage, or H&H analysis preferred.
• PE licensure preferred; EIT considered for progression toward PE.

Responsibilities

• Design and support water resources and stormwater projects including drainage infrastructure and floodplain management.
• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, stormwater modeling, and drainage calculations.
• Prepare drainage reports, stormwater management plans, and construction documents.
• Coordinate with municipalities, regulatory agencies, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Support FEMA floodplain studies and related regulatory processes.
