Zusammenfassung

Water & Environmental Technologies (WET) seeks a full-time, entry-level CAD Specialist for its Worland, Wyoming office to support water resources, surveying, and drafting tasks across Wyoming. The successful candidate will assist with field data collection, mapping, surveying, and preparing water rights records.

Knowledge of agricultural operations and education or experience in surveying, drafting, or related water resources is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Associate's degree or higher in hydrology, water resources, civil engineering, natural resource management, or related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Map or Civil 3D and GIS.
• Experience with fieldwork, including survey data collection and water measurement.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and spatial data management tools.
• Ability to interpret topographic data and mapping information.
• Willingness to travel to project sites and remote locations.
• Background in Wyoming water rights or PLSS preferred.

Aufgaben

• Conduct field reconnaissance and site inspections related to water rights and land surveys.
• Perform surveying tasks including GPS data collection and topographic mapping.
• Create, update, and maintain maps and water rights records using AutoCAD Map/Civil 3D and GIS.
• Interpret aerial imagery and terrain data for reservoir design and irrigation planning.
• Assist with water measurement, permitting, petitioning, and compliance processes.
• Research historical land and water rights records and prepare technical reports.
• Apply Wyoming water law, PLSS, and GIS knowledge to projects.
• Communicate findings with clients, landowners, engineers, and agencies.
• Manage tasks independently while seeking guidance as needed.
