Job summary

WSP in Raleigh is seeking an Associate Consultant Water Resources Engineer-North Carolina to join our Water Resources Team. The role focuses on being the primary designer for projects, developing modeling and drafting skills, and delivering high-quality designs in collaboration with the local team.

You will work on planning, analysis, and design of stormwater systems, hydraulic modeling, and plan production while pursuing EIT/FE and PE licensure to advance within the firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Biological & Agriculture, or related field.
• EIT certification or FE exam completed.
• On track to obtain PE license within four years.
• Experience with hydrologic/hydraulic analyses and design.
• Experience with stormwater conveyance and plan production.

Responsibilities

• Design efforts from preliminary alternatives through final design and permitting.
• Prepare technical reports, designs, and construction cost estimates.
• Coordinate with local project teams and other disciplines.
• Produce plans, specifications, and reports meeting scope and schedule.
