City of Dayton is seeking a Water Reclamation Plant Operator I to join the team at Dayton's water facility. You will operate and monitor a range of treatment equipment, perform routine sampling, testing, and data collection to ensure water quality and process conditions meet standards.

Responsibilities include basic maintenance, documentation of operations, and collaboration with staff. A valid driver's license is required, with CDL needs as noted, and licensing timelines apply.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least one year of mechanical equipment maintenance experience OR completion of OTCO Basic Water Reclamation Operator course.
• Valid driver's license; Ohio Class B CDL preferred; ability to obtain Class A CDL within 150 days.

Mansioni

• Operate, monitor, service, and clean equipment in a water reclamation facility.
• Perform sampling, testing, and data collection to monitor water quality and process conditions.
• Take corrective actions, perform basic maintenance and cleaning; more complex repairs handled by maintenance staff.
• Assist with training of new staff and follow supervisor assignments.
• Maintain accurate records of plant operations and maintenance activities.
