Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 12 months of hands-on experience in water or wastewater equipment operation/maintenance.
• Must obtain Ohio EPA Water Supply I certification upon appointment; future II certification.
• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Promotional qualifications require 6 months in a civil service role.

Responsibilities

• Lead a crew in daily water treatment plant operations.
• Ensure chemical feeding and mixing systems operate correctly.
• Collect and analyze water samples and log SCADA data.
• Perform minor repairs or maintenance on pumps and related equipment.
