Job summary

The successful candidate will contribute to audits, emergency response, and continuous improvement, while communicating effectively with regulators, labs, contractors, and the public.

Qualifications

• Experience in water quality, environmental monitoring, laboratory operations.
• Knowledge of sampling methods, quality assurance, health and safety, and environmental regulations.
• Organised, analytical, and confident working with data, reports and digital records.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily field and laboratory programmes.
• Supervise staff and contractors; allocate work; monitor performance.
• Develop and implement water quality monitoring schedules.
• Review results; identify trends, anomalies and risks.
• Prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist investigations into water quality incidents; support corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, permits, policies and standards.
• Contribute to audits, inspections, emergency response and continuous improvement.
• Communicate with colleagues, laboratories, regulators, contractors and the public.
