Job summary

An environmental agency in Seattle is looking for a Water Quality Planner/Project Manager II to lead technical support in evaluating marine water quality data and trends. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in oceanography or a related field, strong knowledge of Puget Sound, and experience in data analysis and quality control. This role includes both office work and occasional field sampling along the Puget Sound shoreline.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in oceanography, marine science, or closely related discipline.
  • Experience in assessing marine water data quality control.
  • Ability to communicate technical information effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct quality control reviews of marine water data.
  • Analyze and interpret marine data for trends and compliance.
  • Manage data contracts and prepare technical reports.
