Job summary

National Water Services in Gaithersburg, MD seeks a Field Technician to ensure cleanliness and proper operation of dispensing cabinets and to maintain positive customer relationships. You will clean, test quality, record readings, and report issues during service visits.

The role is a 1099 Independent Contractor with paid training and no employee benefits. Interviews via Microsoft Teams will be conducted; background checks apply, and applicants must be 18+.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Own smartphone and report via email.
• Provide own transportation to on-site visits.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize dispensing cabinet sinks and surfaces and perform water taste tests.
• Record meter readings and pressure data during visits and email within 24 hours.
• Report maintenance or technical issues promptly through proper channels.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers and store management.
• Replenish brochures, replace signage, and inventory supplies as needed.
• Capture photographs of equipment for documentation.
• Undertake miscellaneous tasks to support operations and customer satisfaction.
