Job summary

A leading environmental services company in Toms River, NJ, is seeking an entry-level position to assist in sample collection and analysis of water samples. The candidate will interact with customers regarding water quality inquiries and support the Water Quality Team. Required qualifications include a High School Diploma and a willingness to learn. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in water treatment plants and distribution systems is beneficial.
• Must have a valid State Motor Vehicle Operator’s License.

Responsibilities

• Make daily visits to treatment/distribution sampling sites.
• Collect weekly samples from the distribution system.
• Collect watershed samples for laboratory analyses.
• Perform field determinations of taste and odor.
• Tabulate data collected from sampling sites.

Ability to learn company technology and software

Effective communication

Visual inspection and interpretation of lab reports

Identifying aesthetics of water samples
