Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, environmental science, or related field.
• 1 year of professional laboratory experience in water quality sampling and analyses (for Level I) or an equivalent combination.
• RMWQAA certification required for Level II designation or advancement.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and advanced analyses on water and wastewater samples.
• Maintain calibration and operation of laboratory instruments.
• Ensure QA/QC, data validation, and documentation.
• Prepare regulatory reports and assist audits.
• Train and mentor staff in sampling and QA/QC.
• Review SOPs and regulatory requirements.
