Job summary

Mpwservices is seeking a dependable Technician in Wilkes-Barre, PA to support industrial water purification operations through regeneration, testing, and on-site service. The role is hands-on, emphasizing quality, safety, and customer satisfaction in both shop and field environments.

You’ll regeneration tanks, perform integrity testing, log water quality data, troubleshoot issues, and maintain detailed service records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; prior industrial, mechanical, or water treatment experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends, overtime, and extended shifts based on project demands.
• Capable of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and squatting.

Responsibilities

• Regenerate industrial water purification tanks according to established procedures and quality standards.
• Perform integrity testing on tanks, valves, and plumbing systems to ensure proper function and compliance.
• Use monitoring and testing equipment to measure and log water quality data accurately.
• Troubleshoot system performance issues and identify root causes impacting water quality.
• Maintain detailed service records, logs, and documentation for all testing and operational activities.
• Load, unload, and transport equipment and materials safely using forklifts and other tools (training provided).
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE and adherence to environmental regulations.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding job status and any issues encountered.
• Support general shop operations, including cleaning, organizing, and maintaining equipment readiness.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational needs and customer requirements.
