Qualifications

• 1 year of experience operating, adjusting, regulating, repairing, and maintaining electric motors, pumps, and valves in a water treatment setting.

Responsibilities

• Operate and control motors, pumps, and valves to regulate raw water flow into the treatment plant.
• Add or adjust chemicals and operate feeders and chlorinators as required.
• Monitor controls, regulate flow, and maintain proper water levels and pressures.
• Perform minor repairs, lubricate equipment, and record data on process parameters.
• Learn and use agency computer or manual recording systems.
