HDR, Inc. is seeking a PSPL Team Lead to provide technical support across a broad range of drinking water, wastewater, and stormwater pipeline and pumping station projects in California.

You will lead engineering design, coordinate multi-discipline teams, and mentor staff while engaging with owners and clients to deliver quality solutions. The role emphasizes project management, staff development, and active participation in HDR’s employee-owned culture.

Competenze

• Master’s degree in Civil or related Engineering disciplined preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience and project management expertise.
• Professional registration, license or certification may be required based on role.
• Strong communication and listening skills; ability to lead and organize.

Mansioni

• Lead, mentor, and support a team within the PSPL Business Class
• Manage workload and adjust staff assignments to deliver quality products
• Provide oversight and mentorship on projects
• Select, train, develop, and manage technical personnel
• Support hiring initiatives for the PSPL Business Class
• Assist with administrative responsibility for section staff and coordinate with other sections
• Implement, monitor and support company policy
• Support project management activities including planning, directing and monitoring all aspects of mid-sized and large pump station and pipeline projects
• Lead engineering/process design, project coordination, determining and writing engineering specifications, planning work, establishing design methods, report preparation and coordination, equipment sizing and selection and working directly with the owners and clients
• Involved with production and coordination of several projects concurrently
• Participate in business development, including client interaction, proposal development, and participation in professional societies
• Support QA/QC procedures and training for personnel as established by BC leadership
• Mentor local project staff that are less experienced Project Managers
• Be active in recruitment and hiring
• Perform other duties as needed

Formazione

Master’s Degree in Civil or related Engineering discipline

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
