Job summary

HDR is seeking a PSPL Team Lead to guide a cross-disciplinary group in planning, design, and delivery of drinking water, wastewater, and stormwater pipelines and pumping stations in California. You will mentor staff, manage workloads, and coordinate with owners and clients to ensure quality results.

Preferred candidates hold a Master’s in Civil Engineering with 10+ years of project leadership experience, strong communication, and the ability to drive multi-discipline teams.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Civil or related Engineering discipline.
• A minimum of 10 years experience in relevant field.
• Project management experience leading water/wastewater projects.
• Technical experience with design (rehab and replacement) of water/wastewater systems.
• Experience with CA requirements in pipelines and pumping stations.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and support the PSPL team within the Business Class.
• Oversee projects from planning to execution and coordinate with owners/clients.
• Support hiring and staff development for PSPL.
• Coordinate QA/QC procedures and project management activities.
