Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager for HDR’s Water Business Group to lead multidisciplinary design and delivery across multiple locations in the United States. You will oversee planning, design, client relations, and budgets, ensuring projects meet scope and timelines.

Ideal candidates will bring 7+ years in engineering, 2+ years in project management, and a PE license. HDR emphasizes an employee-owned culture with opportunities to influence critical water infrastructure

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 7 years related experience.
• At least 2 years project management experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license.
• MS Office and MS Project experience is required.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Active participant in HDR's employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage small to large multidisciplinary engineering projects.
• Coordinate planning and design work across teams.
• Build lasting client relationships and assist in marketing.
• Lead meetings, workshops, and technical discussions.
• Interface with governing agencies during reviews.
• Conduct design development and contract documentation sessions.
• Track budgets and resource allocation to meet scope.
• Provide regular status updates with project controllers.
• Perform technical analyses and prepare engineering reports.
• Mentor junior engineers in water/wastewater skills.
• Support firm-wide initiatives.
