Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking a Water Programs Engineering Team Lead to support the Los Alamos Legacy Cleanup Contract at LANL in Northern New Mexico. You will lead civil and environmental engineers, oversee surface water and groundwater monitoring, drilling, and remediation projects, and coordinate with managers to prioritize work.

Ideal candidates have PE licensure, a Bachelor’s in engineering, and the ability to work in a team, ensuring safety, compliance, and high-quality deliverables for DOE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer licensure required (PE).
• Ability to manage team members’ project work and priorities.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; capable of working in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering team (civil and environmental engineers) with supervisory responsibilities.
• Support surface water and groundwater monitoring, drilling, and remediation projects; coordinate with managers to prioritize work.
• Act as primary interface with internal and external clients for engineering support.
• Ensure projects meet standards and procedures; exceed client expectations.
