Job summary

Tetra Tech, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Project Manager to lead environmental, groundwater, water resources, and remediation projects in Texas.

You will coordinate planning, field activities, client communications, and regulatory interactions to deliver high‑quality results. The role requires a strong geology/hydrogeology background and the ability to manage multiple assignments in a consulting environment.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating environmental projects, field activities, contractors, schedules, and technical deliverables.
• Strong knowledge of environmental investigations, soil and groundwater sampling, drilling and well activities.
• Experience preparing technical reports, field documentation, regulatory correspondence, or similar deliverables.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments, priorities, schedules, and deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication with clients, regulatory agencies, contractors, field personnel, and technical staff.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate environmental projects from planning through completion, including client communication and field activities.
• Develop and manage project schedules, sampling events, drilling programs, documentation, and deliverables.
• Coordinate environmental investigations involving soil, groundwater, water quality, monitoring wells, and other media.
• Provide technical oversight during drilling and field investigations, reviewing subsurface conditions and aquifer characteristics.
• Track project scope, budgets, milestones, and communicate status to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Oversee subcontractors and field personnel to ensure safe, effective project execution.
