Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation in the United States seeks a Staff Drinking Water Process Engineer to join our Indianapolis/Denver/Salt Lake City opportunity. You will be a technical specialist or lead process engineer focusing on conventional and advanced water treatment.

You will apply coagulation, clarification, softening, filtration, membrane processes, RO, UV/AOP, and distribution water quality, working with multidisciplinary teams on global projects and supporting business development.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program.
Minimum of 5 years related work experience.
Active engineering registration and licensure.
8 years drinking water treatment experience with at least 4 years in water quality and treatment.
Knowledge of municipal water treatment, regulations, and design principles.
Leadership, client communication, and business development capabilities.

Responsibilities

Prepares engineering deliverables including process drawings, criteria memos, and mass balance calculations.
Leads process design of projects and mentors junior engineers.
Supports multiple projects with complex technical challenges.
Coordinates with clients and internal teams for successful project execution.
Develops life-cycle cost analyses to evaluate treatment options.
