Job summary

City of Virginia Beach Parks & Recreation seeks an Aquatic Instructor to lead water polo instruction, enforce safety rules, and provide excellent customer service. The role requires ARC WSI or Lifeguard Instructor certifications and completion of First Aid/CPR/AED within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Must hold ARC WSI or Lifeguard Instructor certs.
• Must obtain ARC First Aid/CPR/AED within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Instruct participants in water polo skills, rules and safety.
• Provide a safe swimming environment.
• Provide customer service and enforce rules.
• Administer CPR/First Aid as needed.
• Be flexible with shifts and location as required.
