Job summary

Core & Main in Tampa is seeking a Procurement Specialist to manage end-to-end material procurement and delivery for a Treatment Plant Project. You will coordinate with sales, credit, estimators, vendors, and customers to ensure accurate submittals and on-time material deliveries.

Responsibilities include creating purchase orders, tracking shipments, handling change orders, and preparing operation/maintenance manuals.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years experience with waterworks or treatment plant.
• Project management training and/or PMI Certification preferred.
• Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for end-to-end material procurement and delivery for an assigned Treatment Plant Project.
• Coordinate with sales, credit, estimator, vendors, and customer to prepare accurate submittals.
• Create purchase orders and coordinate with branch purchasing to obtain materials on time.
• Monitor material shipping dates and communicate deviations to sales and the customer.
• Prepare operation and maintenance manuals as required for items on the project.
