Job summary

PRIDE Industries is seeking a Water Plant Assistant Manager to oversee treatment, collection, distribution and daily operations of plant facilities in accordance with regulatory requirements. In this role, you will supervise staff, manage SCADA systems, and ensure safety and compliance in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires advanced knowledge of water regulations, strong leadership, and excellent communication with management and field personnel.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in water plant operations, including three years in a supervisory role.
• Knowledge of federal, state and local water regulations.
• Knowledge of supervisory principles, practices and techniques.
• Familiar with Federal, State and Local Rules and Regulations pertaining to public water systems.
• Ability to estimate time and materials common to the trade.
• Ability to develop capital projects to improve plant operations and treatment methods.

Responsibilities

• Plans and develops work schedules, equipment usage schedules and procedures for system maintenance.
• Ensures plant and operators comply with regulations through testing and meticulous record keeping.
• Daily inspections of wells, pumps, motors, valves, and electrical panels.
• Maintains distribution systems, hydrants, valves and flushing operations.
• Maintains a safe work environment and ensures all equipment is in proper condition.
