The City of Lexington is looking for a Water Plant Mechanic or Chief Mechanic to join their team. The City of Lexington is seeking a progressive and detail oriented Water Plant Mechanic or Chief Mechanic who will use their talents and leadership skills to help protect Lexington’s natural resources.
Attributes of ideal candidate: t horough knowledge of the methods, materials, equipment, tools and techniques of equipment repair associated with water treatment plants ; attention to detail and accuracy of data; ability to diagnose mechanical trouble in machines and mechanical and electrical equipment; ability to plan and supervise the work of subordinates; and a bility to prepare plans and detailed reports and maintain records.
