Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license
• High School Diploma or GED; CMRT certification preferred or obtainable within 3 years
• Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
• Forklift experience is a plus
• Experience serving municipal utility clients and knowledge of safety practices

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on water treatment plants and related equipment.
• Lubricate equipment and inspect for malfunctions; replace packing in pumps or valves as needed.
• Replace bearings in motors, pumps and other equipment; tune engines and set valve clearances.
• Clean and paint interior/exterior equipment and buildings; assist in recordkeeping and safety procedures
