Job summary

Destination El Paso, proudly managed by Legends Global, is seeking a Part-Time Safety & Security Officer for El Paso Water Parks. You will help ensure guest safety, enforce park rules, and assist with crowd control during events.

The role requires 18+ years, a valid driver's license, a high school diploma or GED, and strong customer service and communication skills. Training in First Aid/CPR is provided; a DPS security license is preferred.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older.
Valid driver’s license required.
High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent experience.
Computer knowledge and typing skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
First Aid/ CPR training provided; crowd control and emergency preparedness knowledge preferred.
Security license through DPS preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain a professional appearance and conduct.
Provide customer service to guests, vendors, participants, and colleagues.
Ensure assigned park is manned 24/7 and perform duties such as securing doors/gates, signing in visitors, etc.
Monitor and respond to alarms and emergencies while communicating effectively.
Conduct patrols to ensure guest safety and property protection.
Inspect premises for signs of intrusion or tampering.
Escort disruptive individuals to security offices or off premises.
Assist with crowd control during events and manage communications with management and maintenance teams.
