City of Richwood is seeking one utility employee to support the operation and maintenance of water and wastewater systems. Duties include equipment operation/repair, facilities maintenance, and street/Drainage work under the Public Works department.
Applicants must be at least 18, possess a high school diploma or GED, and obtain a Class D Water Operator license within one year of hire. The position offers on-call overtime and starting pay of $18.31/hour, depending on experience and licensing.
The City of Richwood is accepting applications for one utility employee. Open until filled. Eligible applicants must be "a self-starter" with the ability to work with little to no supervision, be able to complete tasks accurately and on time and perform all duties as assigned. Candidates who possess strong interpersonal skills and can learn and retain new information are preferred.
Duties may include assisting in the operation and repair of equipment and facilities used to pump, store, distribute, convey or treat and process water and/or wastewater, as well as routine building and grounds maintenance, and streets and drainage maintenance. Must be certified or able to obtain certification as a Grade "D" Water Operator license and Wastewater Collections certificate within one year of hire. High school diploma or GED required.

Starting pay for this position is $18.31/hour depending on previous relatable experience and Operator Licensing.
