Job summary

Rainbow Restoration is seeking a Mitigation Project Manager to oversee residential and commercial emergency mitigation and restoration projects, including water, mold, fire, and storm damage. You will manage mitigation technicians, coordinate field operations, perform inspections, and ensure timely, profitable project delivery.

The ideal candidate is comfortable leading crews while actively working alongside technicians in the field during water mitigation, mold remediation, structural drying, demolition, containment setup, and emergency response projects.Duties & ResponsibilitiesOversee day-to-day mitigation and emergency service operations throughout assigned territoryEstablish and maintain service schedules to ensure all services are delivered efficiently while meeting customer demand and profit margin expectationsSupervise mitigation technicians including training, coaching, development, and performance management in conjunction with Operations Manager.Respond to residential and commercial losses involving water, mold, fire, storm, and other emergency property damage situationsPerform inspections and manage scope of work on job sites before, during, and after work is completedExecute timely, accurate, and profitable estimatesWrite, review, and audit estimates to ensure accuracy and identify deficienciesPerform mitigation duties alongside technicians including water extraction, structural drying, containment setup, demolition, moisture mapping, and remediation supportEnsure all dispatched jobs are responded to in a timely and professional mannerMonitor job progress, drying goals, equipment usage, timelines, and overall project completionMaintain accurate job documentation including moisture logs, notes, sketches, photos, equipment counts, estimates, and operational reportsOversee all job files to ensure insurance approvals, customer authorizations, and complete documentation are maintained accuratelyCommunicate professionally and effectively with customers, adjusters, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teamsEnsure technicians follow proper IICRC standards, company procedures, OSHA requirements, PPE usage, and hazardous material handling guidelinesIdentify safety hazards and establish measures to ensure the safety of occupants, technicians, and job sitesMaintain company vehicles, restoration equipment, and operational readiness throughout the departmentAssist with department growth initiatives, operational planning, technician development, and training programsWork with management to develop business plans, operational goals, and prospective customer opportunities for the departmentMaintain timely communication regarding operational issues, job updates, and department challenges with leadershipParticipate in emergency on-call rotations including nights, weekends, and holidays as business demands requireTravel throughout state with potential overnight stays as neededPerform additional duties and operational support as assignedRequirements & SkillsMinimum 3+ years of mitigation/disaster response field experience including estimating, scoping, structural drying, and moisture mapping requiredXactimate experience preferredMICA, Symbility, Alacrity, DASH, and/or Time & Materials experience preferredWRT, ASD, and AMRT certifications requiredJourneyman or Master IICRC certifications preferredStrong understanding of water mitigation, structural drying, mold remediation, demolition, and restoration processesPrevious leadership, crew lead, project management, or supervisory experience preferredExcellent organizational, leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilitiesCommitment to excellent customer service, attention to detail, and operational quality standardsAbility to manage multiple active projects and shifting priorities in fast-paced environmentsComfortable leading crews while remaining hands-on in the fieldComputer literate with working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, estimating software, and operational systemsComfortable working in confined spaces such as crawlspaces and attics while wearing PPENot afraid to roll up your sleeves and get dirtyPositive attitude with strong work ethic and team-oriented mindsetValid Driver’s License with a clean driving recordAbility to pass a drug test and extensive background screeningAbility to lift and/or move up to 100 poundsComfortable standing, walking, climbing, bending, working at elevated heights, and operating in varying environmental conditionsAvailable for full-time work including overtime, on-call rotations, and statewide travel as business demands requireWhy Join Rainbow Restoration?At Rainbow Restoration, we believe in investing in our employees and creating long-term career opportunities.
