The ideal candidate is comfortable leading crews while actively working alongside technicians during emergency response and mitigation projects.Duties & ResponsibilitiesLead and oversee mitigation technicians on residential and commercial restoration projectsHelp manage day-to-day field operations and job site coordination throughout emergency service projectsRespond to emergency losses involving water, mold, fire, storm, and other property damagePerform and oversee water mitigation services according to IICRC standards and Rainbow processesAssist with supervising and training technicians on structural drying, mold remediation, containment setup, demolition, and disaster cleanupEnsure technicians are following proper restoration procedures, safety standards, PPE requirements, and company expectationsPerform moisture mapping, equipment calculations, photos, job scoping, and required project documentationMonitor drying progress and maintain accurate moisture readings, equipment counts, and job documentationEstablish and maintain schedules to ensure services are delivered efficiently and on timeCommunicate professionally with customers regarding scope of work, expectations, timelines, and project updatesIdentify safety hazards and establish measures to ensure the safety of occupants, technicians, and job sitesPrepare rooms and work areas for mitigation activities including containment setup, staging areas, and equipment placementInventory and load vehicles with equipment, products, and supplies needed for projectsEnsure job sites remain clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA standards and company proceduresSupport quality control inspections and operational accountability in the fieldMaintain company vehicles, tools, and restoration equipment to ensure operational readinessAssist leadership with technician development, on-the-job training, and operational supportParticipate in emergency on-call rotations including nights, weekends, and holidays as business demands requireTravel throughout state with potential overnight stays when needed to support operationsCross-train in related restoration services including contents cleaning, carpet cleaning, and reconstruction supportPerform additional operational duties and emergency response tasks as assignedRequirements & SkillsDirect restoration and water mitigation experience requiredPrevious leadership, crew lead, or field supervision experience preferredIICRC Certifications preferred including WRT, ASD, and/or AMRTStrong understanding of water mitigation, structural drying, mold remediation, and restoration processesCommitment to excellent customer service, attention to detail, and technical quality standardsStrong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to lead by example and support teams in fast-paced environmentsComfortable managing crews while remaining hands-on in the fieldExcellent communication and customer service skillsNot afraid to roll up your sleeves and get dirtyStrong work ethic with a positive, team-oriented attitudeEagerness to continue learning and growing within the Restoration IndustryComputer literate with working knowledge of mobile technology, operational systems, and documentation platformsValid Driver’s License with a clean driving recordAbility to pass a drug test and extensive background screeningAbility to lift and/or move up to 100 poundsComfortable standing, walking, climbing, bending, and working at elevated heights or in confined spaces such as crawlspaces and attics while wearing PPEComfortable working around demolition debris, moisture-damaged materials, and varying environmental conditionsAbility to work overtime, participate in on-call rotations, and travel statewide as neededWhy Join Rainbow Restoration?At Rainbow Restoration, we believe in investing in our employees and creating long-term career opportunities.
