Job summary

Guarantee Restoration Services (GRS) is seeking a Water Technician to join our New Orleans, LA team. You will assist the project manager, handle water damage projects from small to large scale, and perform extraction, gutting, demolition, debris removal, and contents cleaning.

On-call rotation may require weekday, night, and weekend work. Starting pay is $16-18/hour with a fully vested 401K with employer match and a comprehensive insurance package (medical, dental, vision).

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of experience in water mitigation projects.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to work weekdays, nights and weekends due to on-call rotation.
• Hard worker with attention to detail.
• Strong relationship-building and maintenance skills.
• Reliable, dependable and drug-free.
• HVAC and carpentry experience is a plus and may adjust compensation.

Responsibilities

• Assist the project manager on various construction projects.
• Specialize in water damage from small to large scale flooding projects.
• Remove damage via water extraction, gutting and demolition as needed.
• Conduct pre- and post-construction debris removal.
• Clean contents and packing as required.
• Create a general cleaning plan based on project needs.
