As a Water Mitigation Estimator, you’ll serve as the primary point of contact for customers following residential and commercial water damage losses.
Responsibilities include:
Respond to residential and commercial water damage opportunities
Perform on-site inspections to evaluate the extent of water damage
Prepare accurate estimates for mitigation and restoration services
Explain recommended services, project timelines, and restoration options to customers
Build strong relationships with homeowners, business owners, insurance adjusters, and property managers
Coordinate project scheduling and communication with office staff and restoration technicians
Visit active job sites to monitor progress and ensure customer satisfaction
Maintain detailed project documentation, photographs, estimates, and customer records
Follow up on estimates and help convert opportunities into completed projects
Deliver outstanding customer service throughout every phase of the restoration process
Help develop referral relationships with insurance professionals, contractors, plumbers, and other community partners
We’re seeking a motivated professional who enjoys helping customers, communicating solutions, and managing projects from beginning to end.
Qualified candidates should have:
Previous experience in estimating, outside sales, project management, restoration, construction, or another customer-facing role
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Ability to explain project scopes, pricing, and timelines with confidence and professionalism
Strong computer skills and attention to detail
Self-motivation with the ability to work independently
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
Experience in water mitigation, restoration, construction, plumbing, roofing, insurance restoration, or another property service industry
Experience preparing project estimates or coordinating restoration projects
Familiarity with insurance claims and restoration documentation is a plus
Knowledge of moisture mapping, drying processes, and water damage restoration standards is beneficial
