The City of Baltimore is seeking a Utility Meter Technician II to perform routine water distribution duties. The role involves outdoor work, meter maintenance, and precise data entry, with supervision by a technical superior.

You will be reading meters, following routes, and assisting in the operation of fixed network components. The job requires basic computer skills, the ability to work in all weather, and excellent communication with residents.

Formación

• Graduated from an accredited high school or GED, or equivalent.
• One year as Utility Meter Technician I or two years relevant experience.
• Valid Maryland Class C Noncommercial driver's license or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Perform routine manual labor related to water distribution.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions and in confined spaces.
• Read meter schedules and routes and maintain meter readings.
• Complete forms and reports accurately and timely.
