Job summary

Concord Utility Services is hiring Water Meter Specialists in Anne Arundel County, MD. This entry-level outdoor field position involves installing, removing, and programming smart water meters at residential properties.

You will travel between locations to complete work orders and document activities using WOMS and handheld devices; prior water utility experience is not required as paid training is provided.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to perform physical fieldwork, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 100 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

Water Meter Specialist – Entry Level

$24.00–$25.00/hour | Anne Arundel County, MD | Full-Time

NO PREVIOUS WATER METER EXPERIENCE REQUIRED — PAID TRAINING PROVIDED!

Concord Utility Services is hiring Water Meter Specialists to join our field operations team in Anne Arundel County.

This is an entry-level outdoor field position where you'll survey, conduct water meter installs, removals, and program smart water meters at residential properties. No previous water or utility experience is required — we'll train you!

What We're Looking For

Previous experience is a plus, but NOT required. Experience in construction, plumbing, HVAC, landscaping, utilities, maintenance, field service, or other hands-on work is beneficial.
