Job summary

  • Maintain accurate records of deployments, maintenance activities, GPS locations, and equipment inventory.

JOB DUTIES
  • 70% - Deploy, service, and maintain water level sensors at field locations.
  • Assemble and build water level sensor enclosures and associated hardware.
  • Organize, coordinate, and assist in managing student deployment and field support teams, as applicable.
  • 10% - Use RTK GPS or high-accuracy GNSS equipment to precisely locate, document, and verify installed water level sensors.
  • Assist with deployment planning, including site reconnaissance, coordination with partners, and scheduling.
  • 20% - Obtain required permissions and prepare, submit, and file encroachment permits and related documentation as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of deployments, maintenance activities, GPS locations, and equipment inventory.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

COMPENSATION INFORMATION

Expected Salary Range $45,300 - $65,000

Salary is dependent upon several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's previous experience, knowledge, skills and performance in accordance with Clemson's compensation guidelines.

ESSENTIAL PERSONNEL LEVEL

Normal Operations - Required to follow emergency facility closure and modified operations directives, and not normally expected to work on-site during emergency situations.
