Custom Foam Products in Fort Loramie, OH is seeking a dependable Water Jet Technician for the 2nd shift on a four-day work week. You will set up waterjet cutting equipment, read work orders and blueprints, and measure materials with a tape to ensure accuracy.

In this hands-on role you’ll monitor machine performance, perform quality inspections, troubleshoot minor issues, and maintain a clean, safe work area while supporting production goals.

Qualifications

• Experience operating waterjet or CNC equipment preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure, including fractions.
• Able to read blueprints and cut sheets.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate waterjet cutting equipment and manual saws.
• Read and interpret work orders, cut sheets, and production drawings.
• Measure materials and finished products with a tape measure.
• Monitor machine performance and adjust as needed.
• Perform quality inspections to ensure specifications.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment and cutting issues.
• Record production information, material usage, and machine settings.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Support production goals while maintaining quality standards.
