Job summary

The City of Fort Worth is seeking a Water IT Technical Support Analyst II – Utility Billing System to support CIS, IVR and the Customer Portal. This onsite role collaborates with the Water IT team to maintain, configure, and troubleshoot Utility Billing applications and related systems.

On-site in Fort Worth, TX, you will also gain exposure to AMI/MDM and Field Service areas, participate in on-call rotations, and contribute to security, data integrity, and reporting in a municipal utility

Qualifications

Associate degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field required; two years in IT support preferred.
Bachelor’s degree preferred; valid Texas Driver’s License; 24x7 on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain knowledge of Utility Billing System apps and usage in our environment.
Provide admin, config, and technical support for Utility Billing and related systems.
Collaborate with business users to translate requirements into technical specs and modifications.
Ensure integrity and availability of hardware, servers, databases and integrations; monitor performance.
Assist with data analysis, ad-hoc reports, and regulatory reporting requirements.
Participate in security reviews, upgrades, patches, and change management procedures.
