A Water IT Programmer/Analyst II job is available with the City of Fort Worth Water Department, Management Services Division.
In this role, you’ll be part of the Water IT team, which supports all technology used across the Fort Worth Water Utility, including systems that serve our customers directly.
The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise and the ability to work within a collaborative environment where customer service, communication, and dependable technical delivery are essential.
The Programmer Analyst II is responsible for development, maintenance, and support of moderately complex applications for the Utility delivered via the web, Internet and Intranet, and/or client-server. The incumbent is responsible for applying programming best practices, and aids in planning, securing, unit testing, and deploying custom applications.
This position will also gain knowledge and provide support in additional areas of Oracle RightNow/Oracle Service Cloud and Itineris UMAX Utility Suite.
This position is located onsite in Fort Worth, Texas.
Depending on assignment, positions in this class typically require touching, talking, hearing, seeing, grasping, standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, walking, repetitive motions, climbing, balancing, pushing, pulling and lifting; depending on assignment. Incumbents may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, odors, dusts, poor ventilation, chemicals, oils, extreme temperatures, inadequate lighting and intense noises.
Light Work – Depending on assignment, positions in this class typically exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly having to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for the Sedentary Work category and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated Light Work.
