Job summary

HDR in San Antonio, Texas is seeking a Water Intern to contribute to real-world projects in the water discipline. You will apply standard engineering techniques and perform tasks under the supervision of a Project Manager or professional, gaining hands-on experience while helping the team deliver quality outcomes.

This part-time, temporary internship targets undergraduate or graduate engineering students who are enrolled and ready to learn, demonstrate strong problem-solving and communication

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills.
  • Active participation in HDR's employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

  • Gain real-world experience on exciting water projects under supervision.
  • Connect with recent graduates and leaders through mentoring programs.
  • Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures.
  • Perform assignments under the direct supervision of a professional or Project Manager.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

In the role of Water Intern, we'll count on you to:

  • Gain real-world experience on exciting projects

  • Perform assignments under the direct supervision of a professional or Project Manager
  • Perform other duties as needed
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prefer 2 years completed toward degree with 3.0+ GPA
  • Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to field of study/industry
Required Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program
  • Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills
