Job summary

HDR invites students to join the Water Business Group for a Summer 2027 internship in Tyler, Texas. You will participate in real-world water projects, guided by professionals, and engage with mentors from our leadership and young professionals programs.

Ideal candidates are pursuing Civil, Environmental, or Biological & Agricultural Engineering with a GPA of 3.0+ and local/regional availability for the summer. Employment is full-time for the internship duration.

  • Perform assignments under the direct supervision of a professional or Project Manager

Primary Responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications
  • Preference given to local/regional candidates pursuing a Civil, Environmental Engineering or Biological & Agricultural Engineering Degree during Summer 2027.
  • Prefer 2 years completed toward degree with 3.0+ GPA
  • Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to field of study/industry
Required Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program
  • Attention to detail
  • Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills
