Job summary

Garver’s Water Team in El Paso, Texas is seeking a Water and Wastewater Engineering Intern for Summer 2025. You will be mentored by experienced professionals and gain hands-on design experience on diverse water/wastewater projects in a fast-paced, professional setting.

This internship emphasizes training, professional development, and exposure to the consulting engineering industry, including site visits to Garver’s water projects and collaboration with project managers.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a civil, chemical, mechanical or environmental engineering bachelor’s degree in an ABET-accredited program.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Interest in designing water and wastewater infrastructure.

Garver’s experienced Water Team, a concentrated group of experts in water/wastewater conveyance, treatment, planning and design, is seeking a Water and Wastewater Engineering Intern to join our team for Summer 2025. This intern will gain real-world experience in design while working in a fast-paced, professional setting. Join our group of professionals who are working with communities throughout the region and are developing solutions for their water needs.

Internship Description

• Gain real-world environmental and civil engineering experience through assisting with a wide array of water/wastewater projects.

Requirements
