Job summary

Ramboll in Americas is seeking a Technical Manager, Water Infrastructure to lead technical design and documentation for municipal and industrial clients in the Mid-Atlantic region. You will guide concept development, calculations, and constructability reviews, while coordinating teams and supporting proposals.

The role requires 8+ years in water infrastructure, proficiency with codes and standards, and a VA/DC/MD PE license or reciprocity plan.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in water, wastewater and stormwater infrastructure design.
Proficiency with gravity, pressure pipelines and trenchless rehabilitation.
Knowledge of federal, state and local environmental regulations applicable to municipal/industrial clients.
PE license in VA, DC and/or MD or ability to obtain via reciprocity.

Responsibilities

Lead technical linear infrastructure designs and prepare contract documents for municipal and industrial clients.
Develop design concepts, criteria, analysis methods, and constructability reviews.
Prepare detailed design calculations, engineering reports, and QA/QC reviews.
Perform bid phase and construction phase services.
Support business development, project estimating, and planning.
Coordinate and mentor technical staff and project teams.
