Job summary

AECOM are seeking a highly motivated Resident Engineer (Water) based in Chicago, IL, to contribute to impactful water infrastructure projects. You will provide technical direction, mentor staff, and ensure project success through supervision of field activities while maintaining client relationships and adhering to budget and schedule.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree with 6+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
• Valid Driver License required.
• Preferred: Water Distribution Construction Experience.
• Professional Engineer License (PE) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership and delivery from Pre-Construction through closeout.
• Verify and document overall contract compliance and review project deliverables.
• Coordinate contractors' activities and chair project meetings; communicate status to clients.
• Assist in project closeout activities, including warranties, O&M manuals, and invoicing documentation.
