Qualifications

• BA/BS in Structural Engineering with 4 years of relevant experience.
• Valid IL SE license and US citizenship.
• Valid driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record.
• Knowledge of structural design codes (IBC, ACI, AISC, ASCE-07).

Responsibilities

• Performs portions of a broader assignment under supervision.
• Gathers data via field notes, sketches, and photographs.
• Uses structural programs (RISA 3D, STAAD, AutoCAD, REVIT) for modeling.
• Prepares proposals and reports with reasonable cost estimates and schedules.
• Performs fieldwork and drafts detailed field sketches.
• Travels up to 30%.
