Job summary

GHD is seeking a Construction Project Manager for our East Water team in New York City. You will lead construction management for water infrastructure projects, coordinating with owners, designers, and contractors to deliver on time and within budget.

Responsibilities include reviewing constructability, developing schedules and budgets, overseeing field inspections, and guiding project closeout. Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential, with a track record in municipal water

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• New York Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• CCM certification is a plus.
• Minimum 12–15 years of relevant municipal water, wastewater, and infrastructure construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management during construction phase of water projects.
• Serve as liaison between owners, designers, contractors and engineering teams.
• Develop construction schedules and budgets.
• Oversee contractor compliance and field inspection activities.
• Administer project documentation and payment applications.
• Support equipment startup, testing and optimization.
