Job summary

The State of Wyoming's Water Development Office seeks a full-time project manager to administer water construction projects and review engineer planning studies, design and bidding documents, and cost estimates.

This role oversees the State's interests in municipal water supply, dams, and agricultural irrigation projects and requires coordination with sponsors, engineers, and contractors, with overnight statewide travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of progressive work experience in engineering or natural resources.
• Licensure as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) or eligibility within Wyoming.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Agency's project manager on assigned construction projects.
• Administer the State's project agreements with sponsors.
• Review engineer planning studies and construction documents for comments.
• Review and concur on pay requests, change orders, and amendments.
• Attend design reviews, pre-bid, pre-construction, and progress meetings.
