Job summary

Havenpark Communities seeks a Utilities Infrastructure Project Manager (Water) to lead water projects from scope to closeout, ensuring delivery on time and on budget. The role manages engineers and contractors to completion and oversees a portfolio of water projects with ~55 active items totaling $9.8 million.

The position requires coordinating with community managers and RVPs, defining scope prior to bids, and maintaining schedules, budgets, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years managing utility infrastructure projects, specifically water.
• PMI PMP certification preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of water projects from scope through closeout, on budget and on schedule.
• Define scope fully before bidding; manage change orders and bids.
• Build upfront plans including lead times, reviews, access and seasonal constraints.
• Maintain project plans, milestones and budgeted completion dates; flag risks early.
• Visit project sites and verify work is complete before marking closeout.
